Paris is a city full of exciting places to visit and explore. Paris Escapades takes you to places that tourists (or even some Parisians) don't know about. The rest you can explore by yourself using your new language skills. Outings are divided into themes: food, culture, the arts and sites less visited, with the option of adding more. Costs are indicative and might change according to the venue.

Food

1 - Three-course meal at Le Procope. Legendary restaurant in the 6th arrondissement of Paris since 1686, Le Procope is a place full of history. 9 - Evening at the theatre. Le Théâtre de la Huchette shows two Ionesco plays daily and non-stop since 1957. included in price

Culture

4- Visit la Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie offers multimedia resources across a broad range of scientific and technical domains: Life and environment, Science and society, Natural sciences and industry, History of Science, etc.

The La Villette site is made up of the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie, the Parc de la Villette, the Grande Halle, the Zenith and the Cité de la Musique, among others. The Cité des sciences should not be confused with the rest of the park. Max 20 euros NOT included in price

5 - Visit to the Bibliothèque nationale de France. Collects, preserves and makes known French national documentary heritage. The BnF’s collections are unique in the world: 15 million books and printed documents, manuscripts, prints, photographs, maps and plans, scores, coins, medals, sound documents, video and multimedia documents, scenery elements ... All disciplines, whether intellectual, artistic or scientific, are represented in a comprehensive way. About 150 000 documents are added to the collections each year thanks to legal deposit, acquisitions and donations. included in price

6 - Guided tour of  La Sorbonne. Since the 13th century, the name Sorbonne has conjured up for the whole world the image of one of the most prestigious centre of intelligence and culture, of science and the arts, of an age-old knowledge that spans the centuries and one that resounds to this day with the promise of excellence. 10 - Evening at the top of Tour Montparnasse. The Montparnasse Tower Observation Deck offers an exceptional panoramic view of the whole city of Paris. This unique view point, which overlooks Paris from a height of 200 metres, offers a 360° view of the capital, with a stunning 25 miles of visibility on clear days.

11 - Afternoon cruise on the Canal Saint-Martin. This romantic and out of the ordinary trip of around 2.30 hours offers an opportunity to hear the history of the districts of the “Parisians’ Paris” as we cruise along the calm waters of this canal, lined with hundred-year-old trees, spanned by elegant footbridges and going through several locks. included in price
